Position Details

Position Duties and Responsibilities

Will provide extensive customer service regarding course materials and other bookstore related information. All transactions are processed through a point of sale system which requires knowledge of computer systems. Assist the coordinator with duties including but not limited to receiving, stocking, merchandising, and annual inventory. Other duties may be assigned

Required Qualifications

High school degree. The candidate must be self-disciplined, able to work independently and be able to problem solve as needed. This position requires you to stand for extended periods, lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Computer knowledge needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree preferred.
Prior experience attending or familiarity with the community college setting.
Prior merchandising or marketing experience would be an asset. Have the ability to learn and assume additional duties as needed.
Cashier experience.

EXTRA INFORMATION
These are part-time temporary positions of 12 to 24 hours per week. Hours not to exceed 24 per week. These positions can be seasonal as well as on-going.

This posting is to create a pool of applicants for potential openings for various academic semesters throughout the school year.

These openings could be on the Florissant Valley, Forest Park, Meramec and Wildwood Campuses.
