Position Details

Position Duties and Responsibilities

Teaches a 3 credit hour developmental College Student Success Course designed to enhance students’ successful transition to St. Louis Community College by building upon foundational knowledge they acquire in the New Student Registration Workshop and New Student Orientation.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required

Must have attended Smart Start training session.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree preferred

Prefer secondary or post-secondary teaching experience.

Prefer community college teaching experience.

Prefer at least one year teaching development education courses

Prefer experience teaching a College orientation course

Special Instructions to Applicants

Teaching assignments made may include days or evenings on one of 6 campus or satellite locations.
